Candice is the middle child of a large, eccentric family from Sydney’s western suburbs composed of half-adopted and pseudo siblings. The daughter of a parole officer and an enthusiastic foster-carer, Candice spent her childhood listening around corners to tales of violence, madness and evil as her father relayed his work stories to her mother and older brothers.

Best-selling author Candice has written 17 novels including Crimson Lake, which aired on the ABC as “Troppo”. She has worked with world-famous author James Patterson to co-author six novels, including Liar Liar and The Inn.  Her most recent novel, Devil’s Kitchen, a  nailbiter about a female agent that goes undercover in a New York firefighting crew, was recently released in March.
