Kate will help students ‘warm up’ by playing some illustration games to get the creative energy flowing. These group activities are playful, fun and accessible with no drawing talent or skills required to participate.

Once ‘warmed up’ Kate will show students how to focus on creating different worlds, exploring the importance of the surrounding environment that a character exists in and how foregrounds and backgrounds can contribute to story telling. The solo and group activities will involve playing with collage and mark making.
